If you can smell gas or hear hissing: get everyone out of the building, don’t touch switches or unplug anything on the way, and from outside call your gas utility’s emergency line or 911. They come out at any hour, they can shut the supply, and it costs nothing. Don’t go back in and don’t wait on a form.
That’s the right first call at any hour, including during our hours. We’re not a 24/7 company, so if it’s the middle of the night we are not who you need in that moment. There’s more detail on our emergency page, including what to do about a carbon monoxide alarm.
None of this is required, and if you don’t know any of it that’s fine. It just gets to a straight answer faster.
In your own words.
The appliance, if there is one, and ideally the make and model off the sticker.
Whether the property is on natural gas from a utility meter, or propane from a tank. If you're not sure, a gas bill will say.
Which city the property is in. Permitting is handled by the municipality and there are dozens of them across the two counties, so it affects the schedule more than most people expect.
And for commercial work, when the building or the kitchen can actually lose gas. That's usually the question that shapes everything else.
We’re at 13117 NW 107th Avenue in Hialeah Gardens, unit 17, in the warehouse and light industrial district on the east side of the city, near Okeechobee Road and the Palmetto.
It’s a working shop rather than a showroom, so there’s nothing to browse. If you want to drop in about a job, call first and we’ll make sure someone’s there.

Here are answers to the questions South Florida homeowners ask us most. Need something else? Just give us a call — we’re happy to help.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. We’re closed at weekends and we don’t run an after-hours line. If you smell gas outside those hours, call your gas utility’s emergency line or 911 rather than waiting for us. They come out at any hour and can shut the supply.
If you send a form outside working hours, it’ll be picked up the next working morning. We’re not going to put a number on it beyond that, because a promise we can’t keep is worse than no promise. If it’s urgent, call rather than sending the form.
Miami-Dade County and Broward County. We work from one shop in Hialeah Gardens, and out here traffic affects how long it takes to reach somewhere far more than distance does. If timing matters for your job, say so and we’ll be straight with you about what’s realistic.
Ask when you call. We’d rather you had the answer up front than found out afterwards.
